MPAA Concessions Stand
MPAA is an organization ran entirely by volunteers. All Board Members, Coaches & Team Moms have volunteered their time to make this a success. Parents are asked to help out by working with your team to fill assignments for concessions for each player you register at our park. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation with scheduling. It truly takes a community to keep this park running.
*PARENTS YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF SENDING A TEENAGER 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO COVER YOUR CONCESSION SHIFT*
The concession stand director will advise us as soon as we get the GFL Football schedule each season, how many Volunteers are needed for each shift. To hire workers, the fee is $40 per person/per shift. This is the “buy-out” fee that is given to each team. Each team has two buy-outs per shift. If you do not opt to buy-out & you do not show up for your shift, you are required to pay a $50 fine before your child can play the next game. Please make sure you cover your shift.

CONCESSION’S GUIDELINES FOR VOLUNTEERS
- On the day of your assigned duty – All workers need to arrive 15 minutes early and MUST SIGN IN WITH THE CONCESSIONS SUPERVISOR.(Signing in ensures that your team receives credit for their shift)You must sign in your name & the player’s name you are working for.
- Your team mom will coordinate your team’s concession stand schedule according to the assigned times/days the concession director gives your team. This will be divided up among the parents per player. When your team has a home game, your team will be scheduled to work a concession shift. At no time, will your team be scheduled to work during your team’s game.
- If there are any personal conflicts with the assigned dates you’ve been given, the parents have the option to work it out amongst themselves &/or find someone on your team to switch or cover your shift. If you are unable to find someone to cover your shift, you must tell your team mom & she must tell Sheila Day (Team Mom Director) 48 hours prior to the assigned shift to let her know that you will be paying for your shift. She will inform the concession manager to hire workers to cover that particular time slot. Your payment must be provided to your team mom at the time you tell her you are unable to work. (at least 48hrs in advance) Please place the payment in an envelope marked with coach name, team name, date & shift scheduled. Payment must be paid in cash. If the park is closed due to weather during the time of your shift, the payment will be refunded and you will not need to make up your shift.
